這幾日因為電視影集Lie to Me被製播的Fox Network停掉，在tumblr上不時看到哀號甚至謾罵的網友心聲，Tim Roth的照片一直出現，就想起這部我最喜歡的Tim Roth電影來：『海上鋼琴師』。

電影配樂由大師Ennio Morricone操刀，其精彩不用多介紹。在整張專輯裡，這首Lost Boy Calling因為等於述了1900的心境（有人說，根本是長大的1900和童年的1900在對話），我尤其喜歡。作詞者是前Pink Floyd元老Roger Waters, 中間的吉他solo來自Eddie Van Helen，是讓人（讓我）非常驚訝的組合。

1900是個極具天賦的鋼琴師，自在襁褓時被船員在船上發現後，一生從未離開那艘來往大西洋兩岸的船。即使之間對一個女孩產生愛慕之情（順帶一提，代表這段感情的playing love也非常動人），一度想下船到紐約上岸，然而還是在走到舷梯一半時，又回到船上。

1900的裹足不前，不完全是在一個封鎖的環境裡太久，而怕適應不良（當然會有一點），而是那個身為棄嬰的陰影及沒有安全感的lost boy，一直活在心中，縈迴不去。照歌詞的說法，完全是怕再度受到傷害，再被這個世界離棄，所以即使航行多年的船隻都要報廢了，他還是要與它同在。
